A Happy Birthday
When I walked into my office last week, just before the snowstorm, I was greeted by a big surprise. Teachers and staff had conspired to plaster the entire room with hearts, birthday wishes. Having a Valentine's Day birthday (which I share with Trinity teacher Kaity Woodrum), makes my birthday rather conspicuous.
Hundreds of birthday wishes! Some were very aspirational, like the student who wants me to have a new car:
Some were inspirational, like the teacher who encouraged me to "Rejoice in the Lord" in Greek:
