We Wish You a Merry Christmas

The faculty gathers every Friday for devotions at 7:30. This morning we braved the cold and stood on the South Building porch to sing Christmas carols while the students were arriving.

Greg Myers had the good idea to email the song sheets to everyone so we could sing off our iPads.

Despite the cold, I think we sang with all our hearts and enjoyed ourselves, giving praise to God and rejoicing in the season.

The students might have felt like they were running the gauntlet, but I don't mind: They had a very early reminder of the joy that is ours in Christ. And one or two were "in tune" enough to join in the singing as they walked in the doors.

I think we may have discovered another good Trinity tradition. Love it when that happens.
